About Miss Erika Ruiz

Miss Erika: Miss. Erika Ruiz has an extended background as an educated family worker. She has over two decades of experience working with families and children in private and public school settings. As well as running her own daycare in the city of Silverlake established in 2011. She has also authored a number of books which include, How to say Goodbye “Como de cir adios”, But why the potty?, But why the face mask? and But why do we die? She obtains a child development associate teacher permit along with a BA in Social Science with a concentration on child development. She speaks English and Spanish with an updated CPR certificate. She provides a loving and positive setting for the children. She is finger print cleared and is a mandated reporter.

Philosophy

Extraordinary Minds Preschool offers a bilingual English and Spanish speaking setting with the right balance of structure, routine and freedom. It is a happy, fun and safe environment for the children of our future. We accept children regardless of race or religion. Our goal is to provide a variety of experiences in a loving way that will promote engaging development for your child.
